Visit Admissions Camp

MSc Finance

We verify your original transcripts and documents at Admissions Camp. Admissions Camps start in July, and are held at regular intervals.

Important notes about Admissions Camp

  • Please bring carry original documents. We are not able to accept digital scans, digital photos or photocopies of original documents.
  • For students under 18 years of age, your parent or legal guardian will be required to sign certain authorisation documents. Please plan for a time that is convenient for them.
  • Document verification will take approximately 45 minutes, but you may be asked to wait for a short time before document verification starts. You should allow enough time for this when you plan your visit.
  • Look out for emails from [email protected] to confirm your Admissions Camp visit to campus.

What you will need to bring

For all programmes

  • Academic transcripts and certificates:-
    • Class 12 marksheet and certificate.
    • Class 10 marksheet and certificate.
    • English proficiency test result (if required).
    • Any test transcripts you volunteered as part of your admission.
  • Identity document, such as Aadhaar or a valid passport.
  • Letter of Recommendation or Character Certificate. 
  • Your admissions Offer Letter. 
  • A recent passport photograph.

For Postgraduate Taught programmes only

  • Undergraduate (Bachelor’s) transcripts with individual transcripts for each semester.
  • Your degree certificate.
  • A CV or Resumé.

Your next step

When you have visited Admissions Camp, it's time to take the next step in your journey and set up your university IT account.

Set up your university IT account

We will send a University of Southampton ID number to you in August (this is different to the application ID that you already have). When you have your Southampton ID number,  you should use Subscribe Self-service to set up your university IT account confirming personal details, choosing a password, and selecting security credentials.

Enrol at the university

You must enrol to officially join the university and become one of our students. Your enrolment link will reach you within 24 hours of subscribing to your university IT account. Enrolling is an essential process, and you should complete enrolment within 72 hours of receiving your link.

You now can access:-

  • Blackboard, our online learning environment.
  • Your university email account.
  • SUSSED, our university intranet and digital portal, showing your personal timetable and a range of internal services.
  • The Student Hub, to reach your go-to team for information and support.

Collect your student ID card

Your student ID card will be ready by mid-August 2026, and you must collect it from the Student Experience team on campus. The card provides entry to campus and access to campus facilities. You must carry it with you every day.

Attend student induction

Hit the ground running with support and advice from academic and professional teams. Induction sessions take place on campus from Monday 24 August to Thursday 03 September 2026. Induction includes career and employability sessions and other must know information.

Bootcamps conducted for students

Teaching begins 07 September 2026

Check your timetable for lectures and seminars when the academic term starts on 07 September 2026.
